Cooking Classes

Traditional Haitian and multicultural cooking classes celebrating food as culture, community, and connection.

Transitional Housing Program
Creole Resources provides safe, stable, and affordable transitional housing for college students and families experiencing housing instability — particularly those impacted by immigration-related family separation, including young adults whose parents were deported and who were suddenly left without housing or financial support.
The program is housed in a large residential home with private bedrooms, shared communal spaces including a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms, porches, a backyard, and on-site laundry. Residents are carefully screened through an interview process to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Beyond housing, residents are connected to Creole Resources' wraparound services — including food assistance, job training, and civil legal aid — so they can continue their education, improve employment prospects, and rebuild stability. The next step for this program is to expand services by securing an additional housing site.
Our At-Cost Service Model
Creole Resources does not charge families or individuals for services. All support provided to community members is free and accessible, regardless of income or immigration status.
These costs are covered through donations, grants, sponsorships, and partnerships so families can access support without financial barriers.
