EMERGENCY LIVING & LEGAL SUPPORT CAMPAIGN

WHAT IS HAPPENING?
There are over 600 Haitian community members in Spokane and more than 100 are now facing sudden, unjust loss of legal protection status (TPS) and jobs. These are our neighbors, families, and friends. Many who work in essential roles that are experiencing workforce shortages already; including, childcare, healthcare, and local warehouses, and have now been laid off despite most still having active work permits.

Can you help support our neighbors in this critical moment? https://givebutter.com/HaitianSupport

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Targeted policy rollbacks pushed by federal administration have revoked Temporary Protected Status (TPS) & humanitarian parole without warning.  Haitian immigrants are being told: “Leave the U.S. or face arrest.”

Assets are being seized. Food insecurity is rising. Families are terrified. This is a humanitarian crisis and it’s happening right here in Spokane!

SUPPORT YOUR NEIGHBORS!

WE NEED OUR COMMUNTIY TO STEP UP NOW!

Help us raise $60,000 to help us:

>Pay attorney fees for asylum and TPS renewals

>Provide emergency housing, food, and transportation

>Alert Haitians of their rights through action campaigns

>Fund rapid-response legal clinics and support services

The asylum process can take months-years.
Families need support now to survive while they fight to stay safe & legally protected.
We’re raising emergency funds for legal help, housing, and advocacy.
Can you donate or help us spread the word?
